The tournament shooter, exactly as Gabriel designed it — recorded verbatim from the designer's own spec.
Designer: Gabriel Sydney Thomas (age 11) · Studio: GST Studios
Recorded 2026-07-17
Name: SK plus the last two digits of the year → SK26, with a new version released every year (SK27, SK28…) — the same yearly-franchise model as the big sports titles, proposed unprompted by a 11-year-old.
Platform target: Roblox. Every benchmark the designer named is a Roblox hit or its class — Blue Lock (Rivals), Roblox Rivals, Hyper Shot, Fortnite, NBA2K Streetball, Basketball Zero, The Strongest Battlegrounds, Build a Soccer Squad, Build a Basketball Team, and Call of Duty.
Weapons are acquired by rolling crates; each crate yields a random card.
| Crate | Cost | Card tiers inside |
|---|---|---|
| Free crate | Free | Common, Rare, Epic |
| Cheap crate | Soft currency | Epic, Legendary, Mythic |
| Super crate | Soft currency (premium) | Legendary, Mythic, Neon, Super |
| Money crate | Real money (Robux) — best in game | Mythic, Neon, Super, Owners |
Rarity ladder: Common → Rare → Epic → Legendary → Mythic → Neon → Super → Owners (the family / creator exclusives).
Family rule layered on by the Chairman: real-money crates exist as designed, but every purchase is gated by parental controls — no dark-pattern pressure. The designer's economy, the father's guardrails.
Loadout = 5 cards: 3 weapon cards + 2 heal cards.
"I want to have a system so people can create their own game."
SK26 ships with a creation layer — custom 1v1 arenas and rule mutations built in-game. The deeper answer is the platform itself: Roblox Studio is the professional path the designer grows into, with SK26 as his first shipped title.
The designer's benchmarks are social games — their magic is his friends inside them. A private website can't have that; a Roblox game can. SK26 is his design, his name, his friends, and a yearly franchise. This page is the official studio site of the SK franchise.
